PixelPine™ Balcony Lights

We're on the ninth floor facing the street and people actually stop on the pavement. Took about twenty minutes to zip-tie along the railing.

He's five and it's the first thing he does when he gets home. Snowman, then reindeer, then snowman again. Worth it for that alone.

I've done the tangled-string thing for years. This is one panel, one plug, and it actually looks designed instead of thrown up.

Put the kids' names up on Christmas Eve. DIY mode is fiddly the first time but once you get it you'll use it constantly.

Looks superb and survived a week of rain fine. Only warning is it's USB, so work out where your outlet is before you hang it. I needed an extension.

We're on the 4th floor and I honestly wasn't sure it would read from the street. It does. The waving Santa is sharp from the sidewalk, every pixel is its own little dot of light so it looks crisp instead of blurry. Last week a dad stopped with his kids just to point up at it. Took me about 25 minutes with the cable ties and it hasn't shifted once in the wind.

Every year I spend a whole Saturday on a ladder with string lights and half of them die by New Year's. This year I zip-tied one light curtain along the porch railing and that was it. The leaping reindeer with the stars behind it is our favourite, and the snow doesn't bother it. Neighbours across the road asked if we hired someone.

We have a big floor-to-ceiling glass window across the front of the living room, so I hung the curtain across the top of the glass, facing the street. From the lawn it's incredible: snowflakes drifting across the whole window and a big Christmas tree right in the middle. From inside it's just thin clear strings, you can still see out. Neighbours have started slowing their cars down to look.

We put it on the back deck of our townhouse so it faces the yard. My two pick a design every night after dinner, right now it's candy canes and hearts. They run downstairs into the yard just to look up at it and wave. The colours are really rich, the reds are proper red, not pinky. Best Christmas thing we've bought in years.

I'm not techy at all and I had it working in about five minutes. You open the app, tap a picture from the grid and the railing changes straight away. There's a tree with presents, Santa, reindeer, snowmen and loads more, plus you can draw your own. I change it from the sofa without going outside. Brightness slider is great for later at night.

Our daughter's room has a tiny Juliet balcony, so I hung the lights on that little railing and typed HI SANTA with a star underneath in the app. She was convinced Santa would see it from the sleigh. The letters are big and clear even from down the street. Typing your own message is honestly the feature that sold me.

We've had proper snow for a week and it's sat on top of the railing the whole time. The lights didn't care. The gingerbread man and peppermint candy design looks amazing with the snow falling in front of it, it lights up the flakes. Hot chocolate out there in the evening has become a thing now. Really well made, nothing flimsy about it.

We live in a one-bed in the city and the balcony was just a place for the recycling. Now we sit out there under a blanket most nights. We switch between the ornaments and the fireplace scene, and the fireplace one genuinely makes it feel warmer, it flickers. Neighbours in the building opposite have messaged us about it twice.

Rolled it out along our glass balcony railing, ran the cable ties through every few feet, plugged it in, done in about 20 minutes on my own. It covers the whole railing end to end so there's no awkward gap. Everything you need is in the box, ties included. Switched it on with the red bow design and my wife came out to see what I'd done.

We fixed it along the back fence for our holiday party and it stole the show. Used the multicolour stars and fireworks setting and turned on music sync so it pulsed with the playlist. Everyone was taking photos in front of it. It's coming back out for New Year's Eve too, it's not just a Christmas thing for us.

I'm on the ground floor with a little patio railing and wasn't sure it was worth it without a high balcony. So glad I got it. It hangs off the top rail like normal curtain lights, then lights up into a big Santa with snowflakes falling all around him. People walking their dogs slow down to look. Took me longer to pick a design than to hang it.
